Author's Bio
Charley Brindley
I began my working career in the Air Force in
1959 as a nuclear weapons technician. I traveled to Air Force bases all over the world, recalibrating the weapons after they were moved from one location to another. When I left the Air Force in 1963 I attended the University of Oklahoma for two
years. I worked as a welder on the Alaska Pipeline and
then as a bush pilot flying out of Fairbanks. I went
back to school in 1970 to earn a degree in computer science.
I went to work for American National Insurance Company as a
computer operator and when I left the company in 1986 I
was Vice President and CFO of their mutual fund subsidiary.
Later that year I started a computer company in Houston
and in 1999 I sold the company and began to travel and
write. I live in Missouri most of the year.
